When an URL is analyzed, DNS lookup for any A reccords of the host name is made. If multiple reccords are returned, a HEAD request will be sent to all addresses.
HTTP and HTTPS protocols are supported.
If no URL scheme is specified, HTTP is assumed. Port 80 is default assumption for HTTP as port 443 is it for HTTPS.
